KT x Ruff House

The KT x Ruff House Journal collaboration is inspired by our shared love of the outdoors, adventures, writing and giving back. The KT x Ruff House journal is launching on National Public Lands Day (9/24) as KT begins her week-long journey in Alaska’s Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge with Sustain Music & Nature, a nonprofit that makes music a force for public lands. From the sea and sky inspired color, to the Alaska State flag’s Big Dipper constellation with added hand-drawn elements, this journal is designed to be a sturdy and treasured travel companion.

KT Tunstall

5x platinum and Grammy nominated Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall launched into the international spotlight with the hit singles “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See”. KT quickly became known for her empowered female-rocker style, pioneering looping skills and great story-telling. Tunstall has released seven albums internationally with her most recent titled NUT, which is the last part of a trilogy of albums based on the Soul, the Body and the Mind.

I’m a dreamer, and I’ve always been a dreamer. I need to feel a constant sense of exploration in life. As a songwriter, in order to initiate the creative deep-dive to write lyrics I have to allow myself to unhook from the day to day and go into a different realm. Solitude, wilderness and Nature are all pathways to creative thought for me. This trip to Alaska with Sustain Music & Nature is an absolute experience of a lifetime where my strong passions for music, the outdoors and journaling all come together.
